Ghost wandered through the forest, glad of the shade and the peaceful air about it. He was alone again, something he was used to, and used to like. Hearing a twig break behind him, he quickly turned his head, but there was nothing. "I'm not cut out for this sort of thing", he muttered. He sighed to himself, with feelings unknown, and carried on walking.

A new fae was wandering through the trees. She was scared of this place, and to top it off she was lost. She heard a small sigh though nearby and saw awhite dog walking also in the trees. Maybe he could help. "E-e-excuse me...can you help me? I'm new and I'm lost and i don't know anybody." tears began to slowly make tracks down her fur.

"Oh, my, of course I can help! Please don't cry, I hate to see another dog upset." He walked over to the new Fae, smiling, and went to rub against her, comforting her, but stopped, unsure. "It's easy to get lost here, don't worry. I'll admit, I'm reasonably new here too, but I stil know my way around." Ghost was surprised at himself, he never spoke this much without prompt. He laughed quietly, and said "Your fur's all wet now." His eyes twinkled, and he smiled again.

Faith giggled. "Sorry, I'm being silly. It's just, I'm all on my own. Can I go round with you for a bit? I don't want to get lost on my own again."

"Of course you can! I'd-" He hesitated for a second, "I'd be glad of your company." He rubbed against her this time, not really knowing what he was doing, but doing it anyway. "So, what brings you here?" He asked.

"Really? Thankyou so much." He rubbed along her body and she tilted her head slightly but rubbed him back anyway. "Well, what brings most people here?" she giggled and smiled her eyes lighting up. "My parents abandoned me when I was young because they couldn't keep running from poachers with a cub too look after. My legs weren't fast enough to run after them and I've been wandering alone ever since." her eyes lost their brightness and she looked sad. "It's a good thing I can hunt isn't it?" she made a half smile but her eyes still held sadness within.

"I'm so sorry." He said, losing his smile. "So, you've been alone for a long time too?" Then giggled himself, "I guess it is lucky you can hunt, huh. I wish I could!" Ghost knew how she felt, but didn't want to say anything, he didn't like to. He thought for a moment, then asked, "Do you miss them?"

"What? My parents?" she huffed, "No way. Even before leaving me I was hit and stuff, i got cuffed round the head until i was unconscious. (NOT talking about Curiousity and Ember, just a made up life) Anyway, you said you can't hunt? Really? I could teach you if you'd like."

He smiled a painful smile, "Well, if they treated you like that, then maybe you're better off without them." Then cheered up a little, and laughed "I'd love to learn to hunt! That is, if you have the time...?" (OOC - g2g now, be back soonish).

"Sure. We can try to catch a deer but it might be a bit hard." She gave him another smile and rubbed along his body before moving ahead slightly and turning to wait for him, tail wagging.
(OOC: Okay, I'll have a new thread waiting.)
