A wolf fae walked through the forest, kicking up slight piles of dirt as she padded onwards. She lay down on an old ivy covered log and sighed. Her eyes were that of a dark brown, which, from a distance seemed almost black. Her smooth coat was mainly white, yet it had grey-brown flecks all over it and cream and grey patches on the legs. Tatooed on her hip was a black orb with a brown edging. On her neck was a black gem cased in silver. In each ear a black stud was pierced with a grey hoop hanging loosly from it. And on her left fore-leg she bore a silver bracelet with a gold mark on the back. Tears dropped from her delicate eyes as she fell into a silent slumber.
'Her mother and father were there. Their faces were blank. "Gone" they said togetheer and they dissolved into the atmosphere - only leaving a drip of blood behind.
Then her sister approched her. "Gone" she said and there was a bang. She too disappeard into thin air with the only evidence of a few drips of blood.
Now her brother came over "Never again." he said, vanishing and leaving one single pawprint behind.'
The fae sat up and sniffed the air. No scents of her family. An urgent howl of despair escaped her maw as she jumped off the log. 'Gone - never again' The words ripped through her mind like a blade. She gave another howl and lay down in a hollow in the log, tears of pain slipping down her cheeks. "Why?" she breathed to herself. The dreams tourtured her so much. "Why must my life, be a life of turmoil and saddness?" she questioned the bright skies overhead...
